The following are guidelines to discern whether or not to bring a child to GK, or if you should serve. If you suspect your child is getting sick, or still has symptoms while recovering from illness, we ask you not to attend GENESIS Kids in order to minimize the spread of infection and illness.

Team members and children should not attend GK with the following symptoms:

• Sneezing
• Cough
• Congestion with runny nose
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue, and for children lethargic behavior
• Muscle or body aches
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Diarrhea
• Vomiting (within the last 48 hours)
• Fever or chills (within the last 48 hours)
• Rash, open sores, weeping wounds
• Headlice, pinworms, pinkeye, ringworm
• Any symptoms that would keep the child home from school
• Any contagious condition

If a child arrives to GK visibly ill or becomes sick, a parent will be notified to pick them up. Team members should notify Jane Mulcahy the GK Director, as soon as possible if they are unable to serve due to illness.
