GENESIS Training August 16, 2025: Woburn High and 11 State Street

Thank you to all of our GK Team members for attending Equip on 8/16! Our team is truly the heartbeat of the GENESIS Kids Ministry. It is a gift to serve alongside each person who makes GK run! Thank you for helping ALL kids Walk with GOD!
If you weren’t able to attend Equip please read through the notes and check out the slide deck for details and pictures. All information regarding serving at Woburn High and 11 State Street was covered, along with questions and answers asked by team members.
Team Members received a folder with necessary information for serving at both locations. If you do not have a folder, please see Jane.
Clarification for parking at WMHS, Orange Lot is for those Team Members who are arriving early to set up, staying for both services and then staying to break down and pack up. If that is NOT you, please park in the red lot. Click the link below to see a map of parking at WMHS.

Joni and Friends training scheduled for 10/4 may change as 11 State St. may not be able to accommodate our team if the building is not ready. Updates will be shared as soon as we have them.
If you are on the Welcome Desk Team and were not at Equip, you will have access to an information page soon for serving while mobile at WMHS, and at 11 State. There are some changes that are critical including when kids move up to new classrooms. We will send you that page as soon as it is ready!
All GK Team Members should attend a GENESIS Open House. Even if you have been a GENESIS for some time, but have not attended Open House, we ask you to take the time to attend and grow in your understanding of our church and our GENESIS DNA. The next 2 Open House dates are Sept. 21 and Oct. 19. Please see Jane if you have questions about this.
ALL GK Leaders (lead teachers, CORE Team members, Welcome Desk Team etc.) should be Missional Partners of GENESIS. As a leader you are representing our church to children, families and other’s you serve with. It is necessary for you to be a GENESIS Missional Partner as you serve and enjoy a full relationship with the church. The next date for a Missional Partnership class is November 9.
