A GK CORE Team Leader is a seasoned leader within the GENESIS Kid’s ministry. Through their personal daily walk with the Lord, and in their leadership in GENESIS Kids over time, they have demonstrated their commitment to the team, and to the GENESIS children and families. As a leader, they serve within all aspects of the ministry and go the extra mile to help ALL children walk with God.
A CORE Team member is invited into leadership, because they are already demonstrating their leadership within the GENESIS Kids ministry, they lead by example in all they say and do.
A CORE Team member is a Missional Partner of GENESIS.
GENESIS KIDS CORE TEAM EXPECTATIONS
Have a committed and growing relationship with Jesus, demonstrated through your Christ-like character, by attending church on Sundays (“sit one, serve one”) and participating in our discipleship rhythms. CORE Team leaders do not live segmented lives, their faith in Christ impacts all that they do. A CORE Team leader considers it a privilege to serve with excellence, placing other’s needs above their own, and helps others to grow in their gifts of service to Christ. A CORE Team Leader is a Missional Partner of GENESIS.
